PROTECTION SPELLS

I would like to know how to cast a spell of protection for all of my belonings. I imagine it would consist of an oil or something to cover tools etc and perhaps prayers, what about symbols?

And also i would like to but a saying around the frame of my bedroom and enterance doors of the house to ward off destructive forces, especialy of people with irrtitable attributes and destructive mind sets like really bad pessimists for eg.

Now if you view the above in relation to the Golden Dawn instruction, you may start begin to understand where I am coming from .. I did come across the following which I thought may be of benefit.

As to the "version" of Wicca I do, that is clearly on my profile, my web site etc if you visit to investigate further, Bow. I could ask the same about you, but personally it doesn't bother me as each to their own :)

If anyone is interested, I have decided to set up a CM group. Considering there is already a Thelemic group here, I personally don't see any problems in my doing so. No doubt the moderator of this site will no doubt advise me if they personally see a problem.

Your comments remind me of the poem "Call Me by My True Names" by Thich Nhat Hanh (which probably now makes me a Buddhist as well).

I have posted it previously, but I will repeat it and in doing so, I also send you compassion that maybe you will find peace within yourself. Not all of us view the world through your eyes, Bow.

you could always make a pentagram out of herbs like rosemary or other herbs of protection, if you had a dragons blood plant i would even recommend weaving some leaves into it, you also could do runes like algiz (my favorite rune), but you need to do what you feel is right for you, dragons blood incense has always worked well in my home yes i am addicted to it, blessed be )O(

i like that one, i have heaps of tiger pictures through my house and did have oriental theme in my hallway facing the door with a fan with year of the tiger and pics until recently to renovate but the pictures are still facing door so very odd i have done this without knowing, but i have never been robbed so i'd believe it. BB)O(

Gidday Lukas,
I have just replaced the floorboards in my entrance hall due to termites. While I had the carpet up I carved a large pentagram, with an open eye in its centre, into the new floor in the doorway. In the surrounding circle I wrote (carved); " No evil will pass this seal" in latin, (Haud Mallum Mos Transeo Haec Signum). I then washed the sign in a mixture of repeling type herbs (Sulphur, Black Pepper etc.) and urine, while strongly envisioning the protection (from people and misfortune) it will offer. I have had no unwanted visitors or bad luck since this was done.
I realise this is probably not possible to do for most people, (landlords tend to frown on ripping up carpets and engraving their floors!) and it is possibly overkill, but I had the opportunity when renovating, so I took it. The latin sentence above could be used around your doorframes, just substitute "ostium" (doorway) for "signum".
I have read the other replies to this question and think Bennise makes some excellent suggestions. (though the other posts are just as relevant)
Don't know if this helps but thought I would put it out there anyway.

under a mat/rug may also work well, must say i haven't had 2 many problems until i had my step son come. tryburning a white sage smudge stick works well use a fire retardant bowl for safety and take it into every room and corner to help ward off bad and is for protection
