Hey I'm Brad, a pagan from QLD in a small town near the coast. I am 17 but I have been through alot and leant from that so I feel I am wiser than most my age. I went through severe trauma and caused a lot of troubles for me and paganism offered me the peace and happiness needed to not only be happy but survive and I continue to find that in every aspect of paganism. I have 2 mates that are pagan (wicca) and a friend who is Satanist (LaVey style) (he gets critisised alot for it as do I for being pagan) I don't have much tolerence for Christians (yes I know I should and should be more accepting of creeds, I am just not of christians) I just havent found a strong christian who hasn't been judgemental and pig-headed. I have done only a few spells but oddly enough I never need to... it's very strange and most would be sceptic but everytime I need something and want to cast a spell to obtain it (like warmth in a cold night or someone to apologise and see my side of things or for a certain girl to like me) it happens, but only if I consider doing a spell to achieve it, what I put it down to is maybe whenever I consider doing a spell, the energy needed to obtain that goal is produced without having to do the spell... but idk i'm kinda sceptic of this myself

We all are learning every day thats part of a pagans path you learn all your life for Nature is Infernet so no one can learn it all be each of us learns a little and shares with others what we have learned a circle of Life that is timeless ever growing and learning

Bradley I would like to know your belifes a bit better as we are on slightly differant paths you follow Wicca while Im a Neopaltonic pagan [ I have shrines to Zues /Athena and Posidon for when I go fishing or boating ] and a few others at there time of year
Allso spells are more wicca than my type of pagan there are many paths
I do wards/protection ect and Cleansing rituals but thats all as well as rituals giving thanks to the gods for there blessings and to ask for there blessings for me or others

i'm lucky i hav never had a bad word said to me besides 1 jewish man online with his misconception of our ways but the truth fixed it :) (apparently we eat our young) i found people are more wanting to understand and know these days or maybe it is just me, yes i live in a very small town and wear my pentagram proud i have never hid who i am, it may be different for males, don't stop being you because society thinks differently as no one is the same we are our own person and our choices are what we are blessed be and good luck )O(

yeah I know, but thats the problem its like being a jew in a group of nazis though, not to the extent but same analogy. I am proud and thats why I get abused. O an I worship Selene/Diana whatever name is ok. I am just building my beliefs by the way

Yes I take heed of Selene at her festival the full moon in August usual about the 13th
The moons will be very Important to you then both full and new will have power and meaning for you that will be your times of healing and growth in your faith
I would pick a name be it Luna /Selene or Diana and all ways use that name some use Moon Godess but I feel you get closer if you use only one name but thats MY WAY you will find yours if you find a quite place and form a circle there are plenty of good wicca rituals find a simple one and do it the next full moon and take your time medatate in your circle on the name you will use and ask for her understanding and blessings. I think your understanding will be a eye opener

thanks yeah I've been meaning to do a few rituals to help find answers but never have the rite things or something comes up, last time my girlfriends dad had a heart attack so yeah

You need very little a few candles a Knife or as I do I have a Staff but well you are starting Ive been learning nearly 40 years and I still try and keep it simple it works just as well I have a box of crystals and candles and Insence my staff but I use a walking stick all the time so to be on the beach with a walking staff I can get away with it you may not some police get upset about a 6ft long staff even if its got a rose quarts crystal mounted on one end making it a expensive item now days

If you wish I have a couple of simple rituals in templet form that are very simple and yes the wiccan words more a point of who you are asking to bless the circle

i too am a stone in the ocean i am the only one i know (except my sister who is non practicing) and am very alone that way in life except my online friends :) who i adore and some i will meet soon enough, i hav never wanted to fit into society i can be very recluse and happy, harder if your more outgoing as i feel you are, if people accept you as you are they r true even if they don't agree, keep your paths separate and respect each other, BB)O(
