Hello all
Hey I'm Brad, a pagan from QLD in a small town near the coast. I am 17 but I have been through alot and leant from that so I feel I am wiser than most my age. I went through severe trauma and caused a lot of troubles for me and paganism offered me the peace and happiness needed to not only be happy but survive and I continue to find that in every aspect of paganism. I have 2 mates that are pagan (wicca) and a friend who is Satanist (LaVey style) (he gets critisised alot for it as do I for being pagan) I don't have much tolerence for Christians (yes I know I should and should be more accepting of creeds, I am just not of christians) I just havent found a strong christian who hasn't been judgemental and pig-headed. I have done only a few spells but oddly enough I never need to... it's very strange and most would be sceptic but everytime I need something and want to cast a spell to obtain it (like warmth in a cold night or someone to apologise and see my side of things or for a certain girl to like me) it happens, but only if I consider doing a spell to achieve it, what I put it down to is maybe whenever I consider doing a spell, the energy needed to obtain that goal is produced without having to do the spell... but idk i'm kinda sceptic of this myself

Merry meet and yes I know what liveing in a small town can be like but at 57 proberly have less problems with some in town than a teen would

Not really, it's not the small town thing thats the problem, I love being in a small town just there arent many pagans or pagan friendly people is all.

The ttown is great its just the small number I can chat about things to with out them getting upset over religion ect

yeah thats true but I wish i could talk about my religion without people saying, thats evil or arent you evil then? or something stupid like that or mocking me by saying if its raining "hey pagan boy why don't you stop the rain with you gods" or ya know stupid shit like that

Yes been there and there is the odd one who can be a bit violent as well but as you get older you will know better who to talk to but its just the way many ppl are they do not wish to see your point of view no matter what

Thank you and yeah, I know, I just wish for a day or age where pagans can walk and proudly be pagan without scruteny and for pagans to be accepted... it seems a far-fetched dream to me :(

Ill say this its a lot better now than it was when I was 18 back then well you where very quite even in big towns its a lot better than it used to be and I think improveing all be it slowly
as to spells I for one take a lot of time as any you do well Harm non and making some one do what they do not wish to is harming them
its a hard road but a rewarding one over time

I have not been around much of late because ...

Orionid meteor shower
Just a note it will peck by about dawn the 21st Oct I think thats GMT ?? but its the next 2/3 nights what ever
These meteors began life as tiny specks of dust ejected by Comet 1P/Halley during its innumerable trips around the Sun. Over the eons, these particles spread out along the comet's orbit. Every October, we run into this stream of dust.
