Event Description

Lughnasadh

Full Moon in Leo - Lunar Eclipse

Friday 6th Februry 8.00pm

The celebration of Lughnasadh is time to pause and open yourself to the change of the Season so that you may be one with its energies and accomplish what is intended. This is the time of the first harvest, a time to enjoy the fruits of your labour. This is a time to consider whether your end results has equaled your efforts. The ideals of Leo and Aquarius come into their fullest expression at the Full Moon and it represents a challenge to you as an individual on how fully you are expressing your life purpose.

This full moon lunar eclipse brings to climax the events that have been swirling around in our lives recently. Times of change are upon us and we must adapt as best we can. Old habits are often difficult to break, but when we do, our lives get unstuck and begin to progress. Did you know that you can use this chaos to help you make the changes you need to progress with your plans.

On this night we will connect with this multilevelled energy under the guidance of Brigid & Lugh who will guide you through the turmoil to an experience of awakening to today's truths, and as the clutter is cleared away, the present is revealed in a new light.

If you are new to the circle and would like to attend this ceremony please send an email to inquiries@spheresoflight.com.au

Blessings

Janine

I have not been around much of late because ...

I have been working on my very first book in an attempt to have it ready for publication in the new year. However it is an extremely slow process when full time work, organising an active coven and all my other responsibilities often take precedent ... but I am getting there slowly.

What is amazing me is that I have still been able to keep on top of my other writing commitments with Insight magazine - http://www.insightpublishing.com.au/ as wel… Continue

Apologies and Notification

~ November 2009 ~

Readers and Travelers alike have probably journeyed to The Cosmic Cauldron Newsletter since the Ocotober issue appeared, scratched their heads and wandered away wondering when the November 2009 issue was going to appear.

I apologise profusely for my tardiness to inform and for the lack of publication.

Due to the Staging of The Druids Dreaming Event and Dragonfly and my Wedding the Day before, I found I did not have either the time or energy t

Bealtaine Magickal Retreat

A selection of photos are in the process of being uploaded into the Temple's photo album of the retreat we held over the weekend, just prior to the commencement of the fire ban so we were able to have our bale fire.

Enjoy.

Some thing to think on

ALCIBIADES II
PERSONS OF THE DIALOGUE: Socrates and Alcibiades.

SOCRATES: Are you going, Alcibiades, to offer prayer to Zeus?

ALCIBIADES: Yes, Socrates, I am.

SOCRATES: you seem to be troubled and to cast your eyes on the ground, as though you were thinking about something.

ALCIBIADES: Of what do you suppose that I am thinking?

SOCRATES: Of the greatest of all things, as I believe. Tell me, do you not suppose that the Gods sometimes partly grant and partly reject the requests which we make… Continue

Orionid meteor shower

Just a note it will peck by about dawn the 21st Oct I think thats GMT ?? but its the next 2/3 nights what ever
These meteors began life as tiny specks of dust ejected by Comet 1P/Halley during its innumerable trips around the Sun. Over the eons, these particles spread out along the comet's orbit. Every October, we run into this stream of dust.
if you are any place to see its a good show
