Event Description
The Arc of the Moon, an eclectic Witchcraft coven located in Bayswater, Victoria is hosting our final esbat ritual for 2009 due to the approaching fire bans but will recommence after the fire ban season has been lifted in 2010.
The Dark Moon ritual will be a celebration and acknowledgement of the Goddess in her phase of Cronedom, working with the Goddess Hecate. There will be a simple spell casting in the ritual and an opportunity to leave offerings for her, including Dionysos.

Orionid meteor shower
These meteors began life as tiny specks of dust ejected by Comet 1P/Halley during its innumerable trips around the Sun. Over the eons, these particles spread out along the comet's orbit. Every October, we run into this stream of dust.
